Description:

Certus Lateo is an integrated software-only solution for dealing with data loss (DLP) and network intrusion threats. It represents a novel approach to securing all interconnected and stand-alone computers of departments or whole companies by creating a fully encrypted, mutually trusted and secure environment on top of Microsoft Windows the security infrastructure.
Practical Security
Certus Lateo has been designed from the ground up to ease the transition from an unsecured computing infrastructure to a system where the inflow and outflow of information is subject to simple and effective control. To this end, Certus Lateo encrypts all data traffic out of systems by default, including both networking and file operations to external media (like USB sticks). Incoming information is decrypted automatically, so changes to established business procedures not necessary.
To enable interaction with the outside world, administrators of the solution can configure exceptions in a powerful, easy-to-use graphical tool to create ways of sharing information with the outside world. The Admin Panel enables centralized control of data exchange based on the mode of transfer (e.g. by network, USB storage or CD burning) or attributes of network connections which map directly to the applications used.
