The social bookmarking service Delicious was acquired by the founders of YouTube, Chad Hurley and Steve Chen.
This puts an end to the speculations that Yahoo will close down Delicious. Yahoo! will continue to operate Delicious until approximately July 2011. After that all operations will be run by Avos - the company lead by Chad Hurley and Steve Chen.
In order to enjoy a smooth transition you are required to login to Delicious again and agree to let Yahoo! transfer your bookmarks to the new owners.
More about the transition can be found on the Delicious website and on the Avos website as well.
